American screenwriter, composer, musician, director, actor and comedian Christopher Guest is best known as a writer in Hollywood movies “mockumentary” (from the English. Mock documentary – teasing documentary film). And in Britain, he was the representative of the House of Lords, with the title of Baron.

Christopher Guest-Heden, son of the 4th Baron Heden-Gest, who was born February 5, 1948 in New York City, USA. There’s father Christopher was a British diplomat at the UN, and his mother, Jeanne Pauline Hinds, formerly vice-president on CBS. His maternal grandfather was a Jewish immigrant from Russia, and great-grandfather on his father – a British Jew, Albert Colonel Goldsmid. However, parents of Christopher became atheists, and no religious education in the family Gest was conducted.
Part of his childhood spent in the UK Christopher. He studied at the School of Music and Art in New York City on a class of classical music (clarinet). Later he became interested in mandolin and became interested in folk music. Guest also played guitar with Arlo Guthrie, which went to the same school.
After his father’s death in 1996, Christopher becomes 5th Baron Heden-Gest. He regularly attended the meetings of the House of Lords, as long as in 1999, not a law was passed prohibiting inherit the seat in the House. Himself Christopher Guest has been completely agree with that.

Christopher Guest starred in more than 60 films. It was mostly musical comedies and dramas. He also took part in articulating the popular animated series “The Simpsons,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Beavis and Butt-Head” and “Animaniacs”. Among other works can be called a movie “A Few Good Men,” “Do not your judgment,” “Best in Show”, “A Mighty Wind” and “Night at the Museum 2”.
Offstage Christopher Guest has its own propaganda speeches. And though he often acts as a comedian in his life, he often gloomy and severe. As the Guest himself, these people want him to be constantly cheerful. However, he rarely jokes, unless the camera is seeing.
Christopher Guest is married to actress Jamie Lee Curtis, whom he met at a party at a mutual friend Rob Reiner. The wedding took place in 1984, and has been for 25 years they are together. They have two adopted children: a daughter Anna and son Thomas.
